Abbotsford Rescinds Offensiveness Policy idea

Through the city website I sent a link to my February 1st post as well as The News’s editorial to Abbotsford’s mayor and council members with the request that they read it. At the next council meeting the motion was withdrawn. Whether that was part of the tipping point in reconsidering their decision, who can say?  No matter. Thankfully, it’s done. The silliness ends. How reassuring to know that reason still prevails. The print edition of The News had the letter in twice. (A mistake. Apparently, it wasn’t removed from the system after first publication. And here I was starting to feel a little chuffed.)
